WHAT TO EXPECT

We will go to meet the universally known San Ignacio de Loyola. Let's go into the territory where this famous character spent his childhood and part of his youth. In the morning, enjoy a walking tour of Azpeitia; a town that, in spite of its industrial character, has managed to preserve its essence of an ancient village and its historical richness.

We will stop at the most important point in the life of San Ignacio de Loyola. His native house and the Sanctuary of Loyola. This is the place where the revolutionary change took place in the life of the founder of the Society of Jesus. The tower house where Iñigo de Loyola was born in 1491 is located in this place, where also, a Sanctuary with an imposing dome was built later, following the design of Carlo Fontana, one of Bernini's disciples.

For lunch, you will enjoy a full traditional menu (Full Ciderhouse menu in the Premium option)

After lunch, we will visit the key landmark of the experience, the Sanctuary of San Ignacio de Loyola itself.
